Artist Statement

As a jewelry designer I enjoy combining many unusual kinds of materials to create distinctive one of a kind pieces. As an abstract painter, I decided I would use my painting knowledge to work in the medium of dichroic glass fusing. Glass is an exciting medium to work in with infinite possibilities. Under the hands of a patient artist, the range of moods of warm glass is limitless. I consider my fused glass jewelry as one of a kind, miniature, wearable works of abstract art. In the last fifteen years, I have taught many diverse jewelry classes and seminars. My work has been sold to retail stores and private customers. I have held trunk shows, jewelry fashion shows, and displayed in many fine art galleries.
